An Accoustic Classic Rock & Pop Sing-A-Long With Carl Dixon

Carl has been involved with music for most of his life. In the 80′s he recorded 3 albums with a group known as Coney Hatch. In 1997 he was asked to join The Guess Who when Burton Cummings went out on his own. This lasted until 2000 when Burton returned. In 2001 he joined April Wine and in 2004 he was asked to re-join The Guess Who. His guitar talents are impressive and he specializes in all those great sing-a-long tunes like “No Sugar Tonight”, “Here Comes The Sun”, “Undun”, “Love The One You’re With”, “Big Yellow Taxi”, “More Than A Feeling” and “Come & Get It” to name a few.

The 80′s Rock Machine

Michael Shotton, vocalist and drummer extraordinaire and his band will take you on a journey through a decade of music recorded by groups like Queen, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Aerosmith. Michael has loved music since he first heard the Beatles growing up in England. In addition to his percussion skills and incredible vocal range Michael has also voiced several commercials for companies like Coke, Labatt’s, Coors & Fosters.

Take a walk in the park with the 120-member Gouverneur New York Wildcat Marching Band led by Drum Majorette Bethany Bigleow, under the Direction of Richard Haynes. Soloists include Sylvia Nentwick (Piccolo), and Dan Kalina (Trumpet). They will march from the front gate to the Tim Hortons Children’s Village performing a Paul Simon Tribute (“Call Me Al” & “Bridge Over Troubled Water”).

Developed to promote health and well-beings for all age, fitness and health levels, this aerobic meditative stretching exercise has been found to have a number of health benefits. Come and participate in our Tai Chi demonstration on Friday at 4 and 7pm.

We are “Jive Talkin’” and “Stayin’ Alive” with this all Canadian cast who have been touring from Disneyland to Russia for the past 10 years recreating both the look and sound of The Bee Gees. In answer to the flood of emails and calls last year after this talented group closed our festival on the Sunday afternoon, we are bringing them back to finish off this dynamic evening of headliner entertainment!

The 65-member Northern Lights Steel Orchestra

The orchestra was formed in 1998 and their members enjoy sharing the music that lifts their spirits. The steel pan instrument is made from a barrel and makes sound through vibrations and were originally created in Trinidad & Tobago following WW11. The orchestra plays all genres of music, each with a “calypso flavour”. They are back in Belleville by popular demand as they played at several of the Canada Day celebrations and were a huge hit with audiences of all ages!

A 70′s Bash with the Boogie Wonder Band

This Montreal based 10-piece show band will “Shake Your Booty” as they perform all the great Disco style dance tunes like “That’s The Way I Like It”, “You Sexy Thing”, “YMCA”, “Funky Town”, “Freak Out”, “Disco Inferno” and “I Will Survive”. They will also rock the Pavilion with tunes like “Another One Bites The Dust” and “Play That Funky Music”

Members of the BWB come from all over North America, and they have performed all over the world in the past 15 years entertaining over 2.5 million people. Even if you are not a Disco fan, you will not be able to keep your feet still. This is a show you do not want to miss!

Paul Saunders and the boys are back by popular demand! You’ve seen them perform as Pauly & the Goodfellas Tribute to R&B and you’ve sung along to the “Jersey Beat” tribute to Frankie Valle. This summer they are ready to entertain you with music of The Young Rascals, and the California surfing sounds of The Beach Boys, the perfect musical finale for our summer festival.

While Paul and the boys take a break, enjoy our “Flashback to the 60’s” with this very talented musical family. Olivia Rapos, the “Jazz Maiden” from Warkworth, released her new CD back in February. At only 11 years old this young lady can make any style of music her own and has a feel for everything from Ella Fitzgerald to The Beatles!
Sing-a-long to the tunes of The Monkeys, The Mamas & Papas, Dusty Springfield, Dionne Warwick, Joni Mitchell & The Beatles to name a few. Olivia will be joined by Mom Kathy & Dad Steve with special guest Terry Denyes from The Commodores Orchestra & Bay City Band. If we’re really lucky maybe even brother Charlie will make an appearance!
